Moonshine Productions was established in 2012 and from the beginning our aim has been to use the extensive technical knowledge we have gained over the years to deliver the best outcome for our clients. Our People

Grant Stevens – Founder / Creative Director

Grant has developed extensive experience in his career, working for clients such as Google, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, ITN & Reuters News in recent years. He can work across multiple disciplines, seamlessly moving between studio or location environments or from production to the edit suite. 

Primarily trained as a vision mixing director, Grant has worked with many systems, ranging from high end Grass Valley panels to more portable setups such as Blackmagic ATEM and Tricaster switchers. Grant also has great experience in establishing these setups into any size event varying from large scale Outside Broadcasts (OB’s) to live Google Hangout and YouTube live streams. His adaptability makes him a great asset to any shoot where things can change quickly, as his quick thinking & knowledge base mean he can react well in a crisis.

 

Jon Hodge – Technical Co-ordinator

Jon is an enthusiastic Multi skilled operator with over 15 years of broadcast experience in both studio and Outside Broadcasts, with a wide and varied knowledge of both live and pre-recorded television.

Having worked extensively with Sony and Panasonic equipment, in both an operational & supervisory capacity he has been broadcasting the latest news stories directly to clients across the globe. He has worked for the bigger names in the broadcast industry throughout his career, ranging from the BBC to Maidstone studios fulfilling roles as diverse as Lighting Cameraman to Vision Mixer across these positions.
